As part of the Building Instruments research project funded by Brigstow Institute, I’ve made two soundscape compositions for Bristol Open Door Festival 2021 on 10th-12th September featuring the ‘hidden’ environmental sounds around Spike Island harborside among other sound artist; Kathy Hinde, Dan Pollard, Dave Meckin, Josh Taylor, J-Mus and Pete Bennett. From historical sounds of the harbor railway tracks to hidden working sounds of the shipping yard, in this hour long immersive binaural audio walking tour you will be guided to listen deeply & reflect on the present, past & future soundscapes along the harborside.
